Yes and No, when we design a website set we always start with the blank canvas and the artwork designed comes from the minds of our designers and not a library. However we do have a set of standard templates you may choose from if you like.
From receiving your order, for a website of 5 or fewer pages, it would normally take between 2 and 3 weeks to design, build and make live the website. For larger scale sites, this timescale would normally extend to 3 to 4 weeks in total.
Before we start a web design project, we would require the following...
A copy of your existing company logo (if applicable). If you do not have a logo but would like one for your Company, we offer logo design from only £50 or $75.
A list of the page titles for your website.
Draft text for your site (ideally in a Word document or text file).
Any photos you would like including in your website.
A list of any other websites you like the look and feel of (so we can gauge what kind of design you are looking for)?
A domain name is simply a unique website address such as www.yourwebsite.co.uk or http://www.yourwebsite.com/. Please click here to see if your desired domain name is available for registration.
You can have any domain name you wish, as long as it is currently available. Please keep in mind that visitors to your website are likely to have to type your domain into their browser, so a short and memorable domain name is much better than a longwinded name. We register all client domain's in the client's own name or in the name of their business. As such, you will always own your own domain name.
Yes, we recommend our sister company www.primeinternet.co.uk However you are free to choose any domains registration company, if you prefer.
Hosting is simply the name given to storing your website on a computer accessible to anyone via their web browser. All our client websites are hosted by VIP Web Space, our sister company.
Our hosting provider offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and provide real time backups of your website.
Within the initial site design and build, as it does take a considerable amount of time to optimise and include images without a website design. We ask that each page of your site be limited to a maximum 10 images each.
If for any reason you do require a very large number of images on each page, then this is not a problem but we may have to make a small additional charge for their optimisation, formatting and inclusion on your website.
